If you have historically made some or all of your income from San Francisco Bay Area queer nightlife, you already know times are rough due to the pandemic. With our venues either opening slowly with limited capacity, or not opening at all for the foreseeable future, it is important that queer nightlife workers maximize their earning potential to best weather this COVID-19 storm.
The SF Bay Area Queer Nightlife Fund (QNF) is aware of these challenges. To best equip local queer nightlife workers to procure gainful employment so they can pay the bills, QNF is launching new career and skills development sessions.
We are kicking off with a 3-part workshop (3 separate one-hour sessions) to help you expand your likely career options by looking back at your career history to date, examining your current job situation with respect to your values and job attributes, and looking forward to envision the gap between your ideal job and your current employment situation and the action steps required to bridge that gap.
The sessions will be led by well known corporate job coach and human resources expert, Deary Duffie.
It is expected registrants will attend all 3 sessions. Those registering may be assigned some brief reading in advance so that everyone is prepared to jump in right away starting with the first session.
There is a shareable Facebook event page too.
