The SF Bay Area Queer Nightlife Fund provided relief to LGBTQ nightlife workers and entertainers affected by COVID-19
The purpose of the SF Bay Area Queer Nightlife Fund (QNF) was to provide resources and opportunities that promoted queer nightlife in the SF Bay Area while nightlife was closed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, we awarded 511 financial relief grants to workers in queer nightlife and offered paid opportunities for nightlife workers at streaming events, totaling over $400,000. The QNF now maintains a platform to share information and resources related to queer nightlife in the Bay Area on Facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, and Twitter.
The QNF steering committee is comprised of LGBTQ nightlife organizers, entertainers, and nonprofit community leaders.
